More than 30,000 of you joined Martini Design to watch Seattle's historic Kingdome implosion. Thanks for your overwhelming support.

The once massive Kingdome now lies in a pile of concrete rubble. But our Kingdome site will live on indefinitely, which means that the IMPLODER will let you continue to "blow your own dome." And don't forget about our post-Dome celebration: WHACK-A-RAT. Experts predicted the dome blast would send our city's underground rats running. WHACK-A-RAT gives you a chance to save Seattle from rodent infestation. Just mind the dynamite and innocent bystanders while you're at it.

WHY WE CREATED THIS SITE
From just across the street, we endured weeks of drilling, banging, power outages and dust as construction crews and their larger-than-life sized Tonka toys chipped away massive amounts of the stadium. Instead of groaning about the inconveniences, we decided the Kingdome was well worth celebrating.

After all, how often can we witness the implosion of a once 110-ton building? With loads of dynamite to boot. Our live cam pointed at the dome, and broadcast the implosion live. Our IMPLODER game still helps us keep a sense of humor. Our trivia section and Kingdome timeline are reminders that the dome's legacy remains a big part of Seattle.

For a quarter of a century, the Kingdome was home to Seattle sports teams and thousands of events such as concerts, monster truck rallies, home shows, even paper airplane contests. The new stadium promises to continue the tradition.

Like much of Seattle, we had Kingdome fever. That's why we created this site. Enjoy.
