Challenge
ALL IN THE FAMILY

Within a large family, you can't play favorites. Before redesigning Sierra On-Line's site for its huge selection of family-friendly games, we knew what we had to do: introduce five brands and six categories of products equally.
Solution
ALL PLAY NO WORK

Each line within Sierra Attractions games is different, with one thing in common: They are fun, engaging and easy to play. In other words, "All Play No Work." The design said just that.
Martini Design simplified navigation, clearing the way for easy access to the dozens of software titles available. And, in keeping with the family-friendly, "All Play No Work" theme, we used fun colors, and even furthered it with cartoon icon illustrations.
And, to simplify site content updates and banner ad rotations, Martini Design introduced a modular site structure that could work with the company's database set-up.
Results
GETTING TO THE POINT

Sierra was able to promote all the separate brands within this one Web site. Content updates, teases and special promotions were made easy for Sierra without a need to tap into HTML.
 Overall, the Attractions brand integrity was reinforced by the collective display of its individual products. Meanwhile, the individual personalities of the separate product lines still shone through. |
